Gerald Wolfe writes the Greater Vision email newsletter. The following is an excerpt from a recent newsletter. Perhaps you are going through a storm. Take heart and trust your Friend.
"While I've been working on this email update, we've driven into quite a thunderstorm. Chad has the bus well under control, but I can tell we've slowed down quite a bit, as the rain pounds the windshield and the lightning flashes around us.
"That's a bit like life... you're just coasting along, not really concerned with what's going on around you...then... all of a sudden, you experience something you weren't expecting. A sudden storm.' The pounding' of circumstances that temporarily prevent you from seeing your direction clearly.
"In those times of uncertainty, it's great to know we're not in the storm alone. We have a Friend that sticks closer than a brother.' Our prayer is that you have a strong relationship with that Friend'... our Savior, Jesus Christ."
