Shelia Shares....
"He Never Sleeps"

Mike and Kelly Bowling had a song called "Your Cries Have Awoken The Master." It's a great song talking about the time when Jesus was in the boat with his disciples. He was sleeping. The weather got bad – very bad. The disciples feared for their lives and finally woke Jesus, asking for his help. He calmed the storm.

The song is that our prayers get God's attention and He can calm our storms.

A mother was in the car listening to the song and telling her children about this powerful message. It was a learning time and she was excited for the opportunity to share with her children.

Finally the little boy spoke up. "Mom, I thought God never sleeps."

Whether you want to call out to God to "awaken" Him to your needs or whether you know God never sleeps and want to invite Him to work in your needs, pray. God doesn't care whether we scream out with need or are so low we can only whisper a quiet "help." He wants to hear from you.
