From the broadcast the weekend of October 21st & 22nd, 2017:

Click for the Kingdom HeirsOur Featured Artists on this program were the Kingdom Heirs, one of today's most popular quartets.  They sing to millions each year as the in-house Southern Gospel quartet at Dollywood Theme Park in Pigeon Forge, TN.  But they travel, too, when they can, and they're favorites of fans everywhere.  Their new CD, "The Last Big Thing," was featured on this program during our Featured Artist visits.  It's exceptional.  Their first radio single from it, "The Last Big Thing," is already doing quite well on radio.  And, as you heard, the CD includes the 1000th song written by one of Southern Gospel music's premier songwriters, Dianne Wilkinson — a song called "Just Another Mile."  (Dianne will talk about that milestone on a future program.)  The song bass Jeff Chapman talked about, "Heaven Just Got Sweeter For You," is an exceptional song that's sure to touch any Christian who has a loved one already on that other shore.  More info about the Kingdom Heirs can be found on their website.

The Kingdom Heirs' new CD featured on this program, "The Last Big Thing," is available from our mailorder service, Springside.  Just call 1-800-38-MUSIC to order.    You can order easily from our webstore by using this link to go directly to this item

Jay Stone Singers The Jay Stone Singers from Parkton, NC, were our Artist Spotlight guests on this program. Vocalists include Bobby and Sharona Carter and their daughter, Emma.  Their son, Stone, is their drummer and, as you heard on the program, a budding songwriter.  Nobody with the group today is named Jay Stone.  That was Sharona's father's name.  He started the group back in 1976 but retired from the road in 2010.  Songs included on this segment were from their current CD called "Come Thirsty," including their current radio song, "I Won't Turn Back."  You can find more information about this talented family group at their website

On the Headline Update you heard Lauren Talley talking about a special "Empower Conference" they've put together to help aspiring Gospel artists.  It'll be October 27-28, 2017, in Sevierville, TN.  More info about it is online here.  But note that time is very short to get involved.
