Our Featured Artists on this edition were the Perrys. The group today is Libbi and Tracy Stuffle, their son, Jared, along with Andrew Goldman and Troy Peach. Songs heard were from their new CD, "Testament." Yes, we did include six songs rather than the usual four — mainly because they're all so good. As you heard Troy say, "I feel like this album is probably some of the best music the Perrys have put out in about twenty years." It's great to hear, too, that Tracy is doing so well since his massive stroke of four-and-a-half years ago. In fact, as you heard, he has some feature lines on their song called "Lord, Send Me." I especially enjoyed Libbi's discussion of why the song, "Find Me Faithful," is so special to her. That is, of course, the prayer of any Christian. The Perrys' Facebook page is at https://www.facebook.com/ThePerrys70/.
The Perrys' CD featured on this program, "Testament," is available from our mailorder service, Springside. Just call 1-800-38-MUSIC to order. You can order easily from our webstore by using this link to go directly to this item.
I always enjoy when the Harvesters stop by to visit, and this time of course, was no exception. They've chosen some outstanding songs for their current "Something Old, Something New" CD. You heard a few of them on this program, including one of the new songs written by group member Mark Hoggard. Other group members are Danny Parker, Tommy Young and Allen Hunter. You can always find more info about the Harvesters on their website.
