Our Featured Artist on this program,
Sheri LaFontaine, is, as you heard, quite gifted — both as a
singer and as a songwriter. Songs of hers which she sang included on this
program were from her current "Something More" CD, including her recent
radio hit, "New Every Morning." But we also visited with her as a
songwriter and included some of her songs that made their way to — and
were recorded by — other top artists, such as Three Bridges,
the Whisnants and others. In a genre that includes very few soloists
— especially female soloists — Sheri is keeping very busy with
both her singing and her songwriting. 
Our Artist Spotlight guests
on this edition were the Torchmen Quartet from St. Catharines, Ontario,
Canada. Today's group members include Mike Moran, with whom we spoke
on the program, along with bass Jon Hisey, lead singer Jeff Tritton
and tenor Sandy MacGregor. Songs were from their "Step Up"
