From the broadcast the weekend of March 20th & 21th, 2010:

Click for Great Annual Giveaway page This was the 4th and final week of our 2010 Great Annual Giveaway on The Gospel Greats program. I hope you entered. We'd really like to send you one of those great prizes we have to give away. Maybe even the Grand Prize — the 2011 Singing At Sea Cruise! If you missed one or even two of the programs during the past four weeks and consequently missed the "Key Word" of the week that you would need to enter, ask around. Perhaps you can find someone who heard the program and would share it with you. But please don't ask us or your local radio station, because they (and we) aren't allowed to tell. Thanks again to the prize suppliers who made all this possible — Templeton Tours (hosts of the Singing at Sea Cruise), Singing News magazine (provider of the trial subscriptions), Crossroads Marketing (provider of the Crist Family CDs and other items) and Springside.com (provider or some CDs and the discount coupon packages). And thank you for your participation. As I said on the air, the whole "giveaway thing" is merely a way that we can express our appreciation in a tangible way for your faithfulness in listening to The Gospel Greats program each week.  The entry deadline for all four weeks (for the monthly prizes) is the same — March 29, 2010 (noon Eastern for online entries).

Click for Isaacs Our Featured Artists on this program were the Isaacs — siblings Ben, Becky and Sonya, and their mom, Lily Isaacs. Songs included on the program were from their new "Naturally" CD. As you heard, the Isaacs' original idea was to make an all-acapella recording. But their co-producer, Bill Gaither, suggested they make it an "almost acapella" CD instead — meaning some simple acoustic instrumentation would be included on some of the songs. The effect is pleasing, as is their song selection. They include some classics as well as one new song. The new one, "A Little Bit of Heaven," happens to be on the current Top 20, hence its appearance on this countdown edition.

Click for Springside The Isaacs' CD featured on this program, "Naturally," is available from our mailorder service, Springside. Just call 1-800-38-MUSIC to order. You can order easily from our webstore by using this link to go directly to this item. (Orders over $40 in the USA qualify for free shipping.)

Websites mentioned on the program:
If you'd like more information about World Vision's missionary work, visit www.worldvision.org. (The Isaacs are involved in their work.)
More information about Ann Downing's Middle Tennessee Women's Retreat is available from her website, www.anndowning.com. (The dates for that event are April 16-18 in Franklin, TN.)

This was our official Singing News Top 20 Countdown Edition, reflecting the chart appearing in the magazine's April issue, which is now being distributed. Note that the countdown was advanced by one week to allow us to devote the next program (the weekend before Easter) to a "cross" theme, followed one week later, of course, by our Easter celebration.
