to see his smiling face at conventions as he always seems to be so friendly

Paul Heil on the 20th anniversary of The Gospel Greats program. WPEO
is celebrating 30 years of ministry in Central Illinois and we are thankful
that The Gospel Greats program has been a part of our ministry for
the past 15 years. You have provided our listeners with the best in Southern
Gospel music as well as interesting interviews with the artists who have
been called by God to minister through this style of gospel music. I have
talked to many of our listeners at area concerts and they always let me know
how much they appreciate the Gospel Greats on WPEO and how they look
forward to the program every Saturday afternoon. We have also had many listeners
call us to find out information on a song that they have heard on The
Gospel Greats. They let us know how it has touched them and how they
would like to share it with family and friends. On a personal note, The Gospel Greats has been a real blessing to me as I have listened to the program over the past few years. God used your program and the music to touch my life in a special way while I was working weekends here at WPEO when I was in my late teens and struggling in my Christian walk. That was seven years ago and God has now blessed me with the opportunity to promote Christian concerts in the Central Illinois area and He has blessed me with many new friends in the Southern Gospel industry.
